Utah Jazz

Debby and Rob flew to Utah for Zoey's graduation and were lucky enough to get tickets for the Jazz playoff game last night. They had a great time, but have been asked by a couple of people not to go again as maybe they were bad luck. Just kidding we are just jealous we didn't get to go. But then again I think someone at the game told you, you were bad luck as well. Ha Ha Ha. All kidding aside, glad you had the opportunity. (More to come on Zoey's graduation)

Off come the braces...

After having braces for about a year and a half Danica says "When I first got my braces off I thought it felt kind of slimy and my lips felt puffy...but now I love them, it feels awesome to have them off." You look beautiful Danica. Congrats!!! By the way...Rob, do you have your shotgun ready?

The life and times of Heather and James...

Heather and James...They celebrated their 4 year anniversary in March and I missed it. I apologize!! So a big Happy Anniversary out to Heather and James. James made reservations in the Napa Valley. They went to Indian Springs Resort and Spa in Calistoga. Heather said they had a great time.
James if flying out the first weekend in May to meet with his family and they are going to the Kentucky Derby. Sounds like alot of fun, hope you make some money!! Heather is also flying out to Utah for 2 days that same weekend to spend some time with family and hang out with her niece and nephew. Heather also said she is taking a Boot Camp class 3 days a week. They work outside so it's rain or shine. Being in San Francisco I am sure they have some cold weather they have to work in. She said it is alot of fun, they do running, sit ups...all kinds of stuff they do in boot camp. It is hard but she is loving it. So watch out, she will be able to kick butt. Heather and James also spent some time in Las Vegas. Looks like you guys are having a great time and enjoying life. Great talking to you last night. Love ya!!

Art runs in the blood

Alissa has been following in her dads footsteps and has become quite a great artist. She rents a studio with some friends in Salt Lake City. That gives her room to do her work and they put on shows twice a year. She said she loves it. The studio is located on West Temple and 2800 south. Alissa has sold 4 paintings at her studio show. Alissa also put in two paintings for the Springville Art Show and both of them were picked to be in the show. The show is the Spring Salon at the Springville Art Museum. The show runs from April 27th to the end of May. Congratulations Alissa and good luck!! Alissa is also still working as a waitress at the Steak House at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake.
Gotta love this picture. Alissa, you crack me up. It was good talking to you last night. Love ya girl.

Photo Shop...

Matt has been experimenting with photo shop for a while and does a bunch of stuff with it. He creates some great signatures for his gaming stuff he does on the computer. I will have to get some of them and post them. He does a really good job and has been blessed with the Fausett Art talent. This was just a picture of him he was messing around with and I thought it was kinda cool.

Senior Ball

MarLyn went to Senior Ball with her good friend Sam on Saturday, April 19th.. The dance was in Fillmore where Sam is from. They met while they were both in 4-H and have become best friends over the last couple of years. They had a great time and make a cute couple. Cindy, JT and Janae drove her down and spent the night and made it into some family time.

Back to work.

Well, what a couple of months we have had. Pete with his heart attack in February and then his Plantar Fasciitis. We are happy to say he is back to work, feeling great and no more pain in his foot. Pete has also been exercising and has changed his diet, along with Robbin and the rest of the family. He is happy to be back to work and we are on the countdown to retirement.

More pictures of Layla...

Sorry but being a granma for the first time I have to share more photos of baby Layla.
Layla and mommy taking a nap.

Hanging out with daddy curled up and cozy. (granma Robbin just wants to pick her up and kiss her)
Napping on daddy.
Let's see...granma Robbin and granpa Pete haven't come to see me yet...What's up with that? (Layla, we will be there soon.)
Awe, I love my mommy...she takes good care of me.
Daddy feeding me and getting ready to burp me.
snoozing on mommy's lap. Enjoy the quiet moments, she will be crawling soon. I think all of her little fat is in her cheeks.

Caught the little sucker....

These pictures are not for the faint of heart.
With the warm beautiful weather we had a visiter come that was trying to get in from the heat. Well it was a visiter we didn't want. We were very hospitable though and found out that he loved Reece's cups. We figured he had had enough and it was time for him to go. Out went the traps and we caught him in 2 days. We thought we had him the first night but he dragged the trap across the room and got away, the next night he was not so lucky. Just to let you know, we don't treat all our visiters like this. Most visiters are totally welcome. We usually have lots of good food and drink. So feel free to drop by anytime.

Great concert.

Wendi and I have already started with our first concert for summer 2008. We were able to see Taylor Swift and Rascal Flats. We went down to San Jose, the first concert we have seen at that arena. When we go to the HP pavillion we usually see the Sharks play hockey. But we had a great time and looking forward to the rest of the concerts we have planned for this summer.
Taylor playing guitar and singing "Just another picture to burn."

More pics.

Sorry, she is just so darn cute I have to share. Mommy gives good kisses.
I think she looks like her daddy in this picture.

Awe, just relaxing and enjoying life.
Mommy and baby. Jen, looks great and what a sweet picture. Jeremy and Jenna brought baby Layla home on friday and things have been going pretty smooth. They trade off with naps so they can keep up with their sleep. It's funny how someone so tiny can rule the roost. Have fun and give her lots of hugs and kisses.
